Why won't leave the things as they are now? Why should a Linux or Apple box be better than a Windows one? Why should win any of them. For the sake of future operating systems improvments just let the things as they are. They are improving each other people...! As well as the fight AMD vs Nvidia vs Intel should also exist. Get rid one of them and the innovations will freeze! Also, choosing the right OS or hardware platform is nothing more in these days than a matter of personal taste and needs. Me for example, I would not go away from Windows for gaming and general usage. Also I would never buy an Apple product, and I would use any UX flavour just for dedicated tasks (like servers, gaming servers also, or raw computing).

Hi all, I am new here and I bought Skymaxx Pro. My problem in the begining was that it was not able to install because seems that cannot reach the server. After few frustrating days it has been installed, but once in the game it requests activation. I am entering my customer email and password, after this it answers that activation is successful and the icon goes green. I am closing the activatin window, but after 5 seconds it pop-up again requesting me same activation. Writing again... an so on so forth... it is somehow in a loop. Please advice, thank you very much!

Linux for gaming is simply not possible. The reason? Quite simple. There are so many distributions, there are so many custom kernels there are so many... that for game developers will be hard, if not even imposibile to maintain properly. A way forward is to have a specific distribution for which all game developers are aware about changes (like the STEAM version), but that's will simply make no difference than a MS Windows machine... the "monopol" will be back... just to other company. Why should we be so enthusiastic for this?

I am brand new here saying a big HELLO to all of you, Currently waiting for my X10 package to arrive. Untill then I am looking for the best simulated small planes from flight model point of view. I just have spotted Pipistrel Panther, SU-26, Cessna172 and AN2 but really don't know how good are they as flight model. I have some DCS flight experience and I am looking forward for small civil flight models as close as to that AFM. Please advice. Thank you!
