Is anyone any good with FS2XPL and getting sceneries all on one level? all my sceneries im converting sem to be higher than ground level?! How can i change this on OED?

Ive also found that Nhancer isnt needed for XP,I get great results using the Nvidia CP and the settings in XP itself.

Your right nova i think you are on your own! All the above reasons are why people arent moving from MSFS over to XP (which is what needs to happen to take XP to the next level).

Ive seen a video of this bird rolling down a ramp into water, not sure where though does anyone know? and if so what scenery is it?

Ive made a school by error and installed Reallife 09 for XP, now this has changed the water reflection and i didnt back up, can anyone help me out as to where to find the originals on any of the discs? or can some one send me the correct file please? Thanks Simon

Nils, Quite true. I think what Tom's really trying to convey here is two things: 1. It shouldn't be called "best of," but "peoples choice" or something similar to that nature. 2. That as a person from MSFS coming to X-Plane for a first glance only to see something like that labeled as "best of" for X-Plane implies that it really IS the best it gets for X-Plane. The above second point should not be misconstrued to suggest that all of us don't appreciate others hard, free, and hobby-like work, but that the perception the actual vote title gives to the outsider can leave a lot to be desired and ultimately give a bad outlook on X-Plane itself in the sense that the aircraft voted "best" is certainly NOT the best potential that X-Plane has the ability to show or can is achievable. As it is, there are already plenty of MSFS users who have an automatic "ew" factor towards X-Plane for their own reasoning or another. Though this thread is more of a sarcastic message, it still has a comedic value to it. Worth a laugh and jab at least! What i would like to see is some decent ground scenery and proper cities and towns.

Superb Ola! Inspired me to work faster and put some more detail into my modelling, im thinking pc's can handle a hell of a lot of Polys in XP now.

Its just about to start up again! Ive literally today been creating textures (still baffles the hell out of my head sometimes) to use, i also need to re-model the main building as ive not saved it to my external HDD when i formatted my pc ) Scenery is going to be a winter thing for me! (which seems to have set in already here in the UK), to much to do outdoors in the Summer

Quick update - Seems like summer and our wedding has taken over on this for now! As soon as the bad weather returns i'll be back on this, got most of the airport modelled and have an orthophoto, just need to sart texturing and putting together properly!

X-Plane doesnt have any objects or building placed correctly.

I think your problems are stemming from VRAM, what card you have in the Macbook?

What i would like to see if some aircraft on level with PMDG, LEVEL-D and the likes, all systems working and lovely 3D pits (the only way to fly). Things are going that way with X-Aviation and from what i can tell XPJets but still a little way off yet. To me the X737 just dosnt cut it compared to the PMDG737 so i only fly the MU-2 and Tecnam P92 in X-Plane at the moment.
