  1. @ JGregory: I hope I didn't get you mad. I'm just curious. I'm very picky about being a bad forum user!! @ Ben Russell: got it! That makes sense. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  2. Hi, guys! Is there a sr-71 blackbird addon for x-plane 10.25? I know x-plane 10 comes with the sr-71 blackbird, but I prefer the sr-71 blackbird with more accurate avionics, with accurate start up, shutdown and system simulation like the real sr-71 blackbird have. I really like the sr-71 blackbird as well as the Saab 340A, the dc-3 and the boeing 777 worldliner! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  3. Hi, guys! I don't understand why the default aircraft in x-plane 10 is so simplistic compared to the Saab 340A, dc-3 and the boeing 777 worldliner? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  4. Hi, JGregory! If run into the brake problem again, I'll give you the video of what is happening. Cheers, Vincent
  5. Hi, JGregory! I still have a brake problem even when using the park brake. When I move the condition levers from the start detent to the unfeather detent with the park brake on, the Saab 340A still moves even with the park brake on. Very strange. Cheers, Vincent
  6. Hi, JGregory! That's strange. I must be the one who having problems with the brakes. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  7. Hi, JGregory! I usually use the parking brakes to slow the airplane down when on the ground but I don't what keys to press to apply the brakes to slow the airplane down when on the ground. I know the b key toggles parking brakes. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  8. Hi, guys! I've been having some problems with the brakes on the Saab. What happened is after I land, go to reverse thrust to come to a complete stop, I apply the parking brakes, the parking brakes works, but when I get out of reverse thrust, the airplane starts moving even with the parking brakes on. Anyone have this issue? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  9. Hi, guys! I got the Saab 340A up to the altitude of 40,800 feet when I was flying PANC-UHPP yesterday! Cheers, Vincent
  10. Hi, JGregory! That makes sense! Thanks! In x-plane, how high I fly depends on how far I fly like when I fly 1,500-2,000 nautical miles, I usually fly at around 32,500 feet and 40,000 feet when the airplane burns off most of the fuel even though the Saab 340A is certified to go up 25,000 feet. Cheers, Vincent
  11. Hi, JGregory! Got it! That makes sense! Thanks! I can go as high as I want in the Saab 340A for x-plane but can't go as high as I want in the real Saab 340A. Cheers, Vincent
  12. Hi, JGgregory! It sounds like the Saab 340A got a bug regarding how high it can go. What is the cruising altitude of the Saab 340A since it's service ceiling is 25,000 feet? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  13. Hi, Cameron! The service ceiling for this aircraft is actually 31,000 feet. As the Saab 340A burns off fuel, the Saab 340A gets lighter so it can step climb higher than 31,000 feet. I'm now at 35,500 feet. Cheers, Vincent
  14. Hi, guys! Anyone there? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  15. Hi, guys! I read the manuals, I still don't understand, please tell me the proper procedure from cold & dark to take off, what is the best rate of climb for getting to the altitude of 30,000 feet in the shortest time, how many nautical miles from the destination airport to start the descent, and what is the best rate of descent from the altitude of 30,000 feet to the destination airport? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  16. Hi, maniwaki! I really like the Saab 340A! In fact, the Saab 340A and the DC-3 are my favorite airplanes like the boeing airplanes are and I really like the realism of the Saab 340A and the DC-3. Let's put it this way, if I get 15 FPS per second, I go to the rendering settings and set the trees to populated and roads to default, ect. Right now, I got 22 FPS when using the Saab 340A! Cheers, Vincent
  17. That is good news! Cheers, Vincent
  18. Hi, guys! I vote for the boeing 747-200, the boeing 747-400, the boeing 777, the boeing 787, and the Saab 340B. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  19. Hi, guys! Question for you, how do I use the gust lock to lock the controls when the airplane is on the ground? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  20. Hi, Ben Wolf! You are welcome! Yes, this is a fun flight! Cheers, Vincent
  21. Hi, Ben Wolf! Sure, no problem! Please see attached! Cheers, Vincent
  22. Hi, guys! I've been flying the Boeing 777 world liner and the Boeing 777 is my favorite airplane as well as the Saab 340A and the dc-3 airplanes! Cheers, Vincent
  23. Hi, guys! I've been flying the Saab 340A lately because the Saab 340A have the same functionality like the real Saab 340A! Cheers, Vincent
  24. Hi, dwayne299! Thanks for the link! It is very interesting! Cheers, Vincent
  25. Hi, dwayne299! I asked info@x-plane.com to see if I can see the curvature of the earth at 15,000-20,000 feet and they said sure. I'd to be quite higher than 15,000-20,000 feet say about 200,000 feet. I understand that you can see the curvature of the earth from the concorde or the SR-71 Blackbird airplanes. Cheers, Vincent
