  1. Hi, dwayne299! Who should I ask about the curvature of the earth in x-plane 10 say at around 15,000-20,000 feet MSL in x-plane, but I know there is curvature of the earth in orbit in X-plane. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  2. Hi, dwayne299!You got that right this effect is very realistic! The higher up you go, the smaller the halo will look! Question for you, on the right photo which have a smaller halo at 37,800 feet MSL, is there a slight curvature of the earth's horizon? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  3. Hi, guys! Here is the screenshots of the sky color varies with altitude in x-plane. The left photo shows what the sky look like when on the ground, and the right photo shows what the sky look like when at the altitude of 37,800 feet MSL which the sky looks dark blue. Do notice the atmosphere halo is much bigger when on the ground on the left photo than the atmosphere halo at 37,800 feet MSL on the right photo? Please see attached. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  4. Hi, guys! I got a feature for the Saab 340A: is the ability to refuel without using the x-plane's weight and fuel option. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  5. Hi, guys! I've been flying the Saab 340A lately!! Cheers, Vincent
  6. Hi, dwayne299! I got up to 40,700 feet MSL in the Saab 340A!! Cheers, Vincent
  7. Hi, dwayne299! So far, my altitude now is 37,600 feet MSL!! Cheers, Vincent
  8. Hi, guys! Tomorrow, I'm going to see how high I can get the Saab 340A up to!!!! Cheers, Vincent
  9. Hi, guys! My favorite aircraft is the DC-3 and the Saab 340A! Cheers, Vincent
  10. Hi, Hobelflieger! No, I sure wouldn't forget the oxygen-masks! Cheers, Vincent
  11. Hi, Hobelflieger! Today when I was flying from NFFN-YPAD, I got the B-17G up to the altitude of 40,500 feet! Tomorrow, I'm going to see how high I can get the DC-3 up to! Cheers, Vincent
  12. Hi, Goran! That makes sense! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  13. Hi, Goran! Question for you, how come using the plane-maker for the dc-3 and while using plane-maker for the Saab 340a will void the support? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  14. Hi, Marconius! I got some advice for you. Since the dc-3 product is like the Saab 340A product, I wouldn't go into plane-maker and mess with the dc-3 values settings because you'll certainly render the dc-3 useless and certainly void the support!! Cameron posted this advice in the Saab 340A section of this forum. If you got a problem with dc-3, it is better to wait for the dc-3 update than to mess with the dc-3 values settings in plane-maker. I got a feeling that the plane-maker should only be used by the programmers and developers. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  15. Hi, Hobelflieger! Thanks for the links! Very interesting! Cheers, Vincent
  16. Hi, Hobelflieger! Did you try out the B-17G without the bomb payload? I tried it. The B-17G is easier to fly and it went to high altitudes easier! Cheers, Vincent
  17. Hi, Goran! That is good news! Cheers, Vincent
  18. Hi, Hobelflieger! You are very welcome! You have a nice day as well! Cheers, Vincent
  19. Hi, Hobelflieger! Thanks for the tip! I read somewhere the B-17 has gone up to the altitude of 35,000 feet or about 6.6 miles. As far as plane-maker goes I would not try to change anything for the B-17 because it'll render the B-17 useless and will certainly void the Khamsin support. I would go to aircraft tab, click on fuel and weight, click on ordnance, click on the button on the buttom half of the screen says ready(click-clear, there are 8 of them) to remove the bombs to reduce weight and thus increase range drmatically. Cheers, Vincent
  20. Hi, Hobelflieger! Question for you, since my B-17G's fuel tanks holds only 13,500 pounds or 2,250 gallons of fuel, I got nice weather (no real weather from the Internet) what is the best altitude, the best engine settings for flights of over 3,000 nautical miles, and where can I get the Tokyo tanks for the Khamsin's B-17G for extra fuel? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  21. Hi, guys! I really enjoying flying the Saab 340A! The Saab 340A update will be released when it is ready. There is no point in releasing the Saab 340A update if it's not working right. Please take your time with the new Saab 340A update! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  22. Hi, Hobelflieger! Got it! That makes sense! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  23. Hi, Hobelflieger! Can a B-17 fly 4,000 nautical miles if I conserve fuel? Thanks! Very interesting video! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  24. Hi, guys! Do you know anything about the B-17G Flying Fortress for x-plane from khamsin.org which is freeware? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
  25. Hi, guys! How is the Saab 340A 1.1 coming along? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
