    I have the 340A 1.3.After startup I get the attached message when I try to turn the Garmin 530 on.This occurs whether I do cold and dark or auto start.I have other aircraft with the Garmin 530 and they work fine.I do note that in the other aircraft the Garmin comes on at engine start and does not require being turned on.     Thanks for clarifying. Must be something on my end. Will try again.

    I have no problem with entering a Flight Plan in 2D, but struggle with a proper view to allow entering Flight Plans in 3D. Is it possible to do all Flight Planning in 2D and then switch to 3D for flight. Tried it once and lost my flight plan. Can this be done. If not, suggestions on Flight Planning in 3D.
