Thank you Ben, There is no rush, I will first wait for the update and then might try what you say. On the other hand, I hope you understand that, starting from scratch and spending another x hours just for SAB experimentation while everything else is working fine might be too much of a time investment. SAAB is not the only plane for X-Plane and I want to enjoy others also plus the plugins I have. Again, thank you for the detailed response but I am still thinking if I want to do what you described, we are talking hours of working and experimenting. THAT was exactly my concern and that is what always puzzled me since the beginning of SAAB experience. Cameron, would you mind to explain how would that be possible that only SAAB makes faulty GPU? I just totally do not understand how CPU can be blamed if it works fine with n number of also complex planes, B777, CRJ2, JS32 , Neo A320 , just to name the few.

Well, if it that is on my end , I hope you guys will help me figure out what it is. If I get 30+ FPS, I will have no complains. We have to wait now and see. BTW, the card is 780, even better.

When I started experiencing the slideshow, I lowered the settings to what you see now. I will leave them at these settings until next update and we will see how it goes. Since I was honest from the beginning, I have to say that no matter what plane I fly, setting objects and roads to "tons" makes FPS drop to below 30 which I do not like while flying. So as you see, I know that there are X-plane side problems and I know that. I will leave these settings as they are, try the update and maybe with your help, I will get the SAAB working at at least 30 FPS.

Totally agree, Goran. I was only saying that if someone wants to play designer, there is no way of telling that he did or seeing it if he does not want to share the info. I would never do it or suggest anybody else to do it. I did not mean to get the topic off the track, I am sorry if I have a bit.

Most of the add-ons that are sold are complex enough so my guess would be that not too many users would mess with them in PM but if they really wanted to, how are you going to know? Just curious. I understand that the warranty would be gone but someone does not care about it, there is no way of telling what is he doing with the plane or there is? Personally , I would not do that but we are all different, correct?

Gentlemen, I can not provide anything you mentioned above because when I got banned, I removed Gizmo and SAAB from X-Plane folder and enjoyed flying other great aircraft waiting for ban period to be over and for update. When the update is out, I will try and see what difference does it bring. If I still experience slide show, I will make sure I will provide all data for you to look at. There is a possibility that it will not be necessary but only the future will tell. Waiting patiently for the update and we will take it from there. Thank you for your input.

I said above that I do not know how exactly these things work but I assume they are linked somehow. I will just wait till the update and will not comment until then.

I was reading forums since my coming back and I was wondering how we can achieve it? There are many things that are discovered ( blackout is one of them) here by discussions but the pilots who do not visit this forum has no way of knowing about the workarounds. Maybe there findings should be included as FAQ of sort in the upcoming update? just an idea. Cheers, AJ

I do not mind the wait as long as it improves things. I have posted in the past my settings and they were very low, I have read something about memory leak , I do not know these things but common sense makes me think that the slide show is experienced only with SAAB, the source of it would be in SAAB, not my computer, my settings etc. I do not want to waste other people time reading and my time finding things, it is not worthy for me. I will patiently wait for the update and then will report things, maybe all will be great. ( I am not sarcastic , just if some would doubt) Just to make sure I am understood right, I do not have enough time to investigate all , make videos and screenshots if I know that the new update will address the issues which was clearly stated by Cameron. So, let's just wait and see.

I would be able to find the corresponding responses but I do not have time to look through all responses just to prove that others are having X-Plane choking on SAAB. It would also did not contribute anything new to this thread. I want my $50+ investment to work, that is all. Agreed. Hi Chris, I am back from what cameron called chilling out period. While I was banned I was still able to see the posts to some degree and you know NOW that my reports were not baseless, others have the same problems. Are you still going to say I was wrong despite so many reports supporting mine? I am looking forward to the update and hoping for positive. As far as replying in these forums, I am not sure anymore how honest I can be and what I am allowed to say and what not. I hope not to banned for saying that. It is not that I can not live without X-Aviation forums , it is just I feel honestly like a little boy being smacked on hand by doing something "wrong". Cheers, AJ

@Cameron: where did you get the idea that I am playing any games? I do have a problem but the problem is only with SAAB. If it is my computer than why I do not have any FPS. Problem with any other aircraft. I named Ramzess B777, Js32 and CRJ2. In my understanding they are also complex and the most computer power demanding. I can make screenshots showing corresponding FPS s. Why are you accusing me of playing games while I am trying to get help and ask questions? @Kris: Kris, thank you for suggestions but I am still not convinced it is my system. Why Xacars run fine with all airplanes I have and why the complex ones do not cause FPS drop while SAAB does? I have to assume that my problem is isolated because so far nobody reported what I have but I just do not understand why everything else works fine but SAAB? I am sorry but I am not convinced. I am not playing games, I only want my money spent being worth spent, that is all.

Cameron, I have one more question for you. Since you do not have any recommendations for my problem (which exist only with SAAB, not other complex ones like JS32 , CRJ2, B777 ) can you at least point me in direction where I can get help? I bought the product in good faith, it is not working for me, you do not have anything else to say to solve my problem. Where do I ask? I am not allowed to do it in .org forums obviously. Please help, I want SAAB working but I do not know where to look for help if not here, in SAAB support forum.

How many people responded in this forum? I would be very satisfied if it worked for me but if you read my posts and replies you can tell I can not be satisfied. I do not blame Cameron for replying that he does not have any suggestions for me because I am the only one that reported it. I am about to give the plane up since last developments, I love the design but I can not use it ( frame rate simply slows to crawl). I will monitor these forums to see how the improvements are implemented and maybe one day I will be happy with SAAB, not now though.

Yes, I understand that SAAB is only a part of the equation. It still puzzles me how is that possible that I have flown ( without knowing) with a very high rendering settings and I was having lots of fun and the only problem was the sound which I reported and Jim found a bug for it. Then I changed settings to very low and started getting this unfamous 3-4 FPS. I can only hope that I am not the only one experiencing that ( it is not that I want others to have problems of course) and others will reply here. You said not to compare but there are also complex designs CRJ2 and JS32 but none of them is causing that. The last option that I hate to think of is it one of these X-Plane mysteries that never get unsolved. Well, thank you for reply anyway.
