I think that soon, the sky in X-Plane will look better than the ground... if it does not already. Keep it up John. ( no associations intended, ) Great job. Cheers, AJ -

Hey John. X-Plane 10.30 is out and bragging about new clouds. How is it going to affect future SMP? Just curious. I am sure you already know the answer. Cheers, AJ -

Hi John, Just got the SkyMaxx Pro update installed. NOW I owe you TWO lunches. Excellent, it is scary to think what you are going to come up next, I might stop flying and just start looking at the clouds. Seriously, great job and constant improvement, love it. Thank you SkyMaxx Pro Team. Cheers, AJ -
Just out of curiosity, is there any way of proving that the code was stolen if that is the case? I am sure that if it is, the legal actions might be complicated. Cheers, AJ P.S. I was thinking about that before and personally, I would have SkyMaxx Pro and Maxx-FX combined into one plug-in for slightly higher price. I was asked for the numbers, I would say SkyMaxx pro is used about 90% and Maxx-FX only 10% ( in my case of course) Of course all is a personal preference.

SkyMaxx Pro has gone downhill since release?
arb65912 replied to AnonymousUser68's topic in General Discussion
I am so fast using English which is my second language that sometimes I am having a hard time understanding what I wanted to say.. Great news John on SkyMaxx Pro development direction, thank you. I pretty much can not imagine flying without SMP anymore, really. Cheers, AJ -
Jim, Maybe my reply was too fast because I did not take time and read the whole thread carefully. Sorry about that. I know exactly what you mean. Everybody's time is important but developers need to deal with replies to ALL customers which makes the task quite intense. I truly appreciate and value the fact that we can have conversation with the developers here and I will try to read more before replying, it was my "first impulse" response after reading your reply. My bad. Cheers, AJ

With all due respect to Jim, I need to say that. Jim, if you say it has been fixed , SOME users automatically think that it was fixed before the recent available update, that is why Vinny asked. I know , I know , you said it will be fixed in the next update also. Many of us are not English speakers here, you know that. I am not trying to drag the subject longer just wanted you to see the other opinion on that. It is all good anyway. Thank you for great aircraft. Cheers, AJ
-
You just said it, Tom. Just kidding, I am watching all these recent threads and it is pretty exciting to see the new changes. Waiting for the day when we can just fly X-plane maxed out without all investigations , scripts etc. I am not saying that it will never happen. Cheers, AJ

Leading Edge Simulations Saab 340A Experience
arb65912 replied to arb65912's topic in General Discussion
Maybe everybody hoped that AJ is gone finally... Well, he is not! I was totally sucked into the World Traffic plug-in and I am a big fan of it. Not only it let the user to generate traffic at will but also works great with VATSIM. Having said that, it will be time soon to get back to Saab 340A and fly approaches suggested by Jim G. http://airfactsjournal.com/2013/09/7-instrument-approaches-you-have-to-see-to-believe/ Need to generate some traffic and will be back in LES Saab340A. Take a look at the video clip, KBOS, VATSIM and World Traffic working hand in hand. Enjoy! Cheers, AJ -
As John said, I do not see any cloud shadows and with SkyMaxx Pro and Maxx FX I do not really need them but it is just my opinion. Cheers, AJ

Gentlemen, I understand your point and I do not mind contributing to the community, actually during my whole X-Plane "carreer" I have contributed hundreds of hours and I do not regret that. Now, on the other hand, we pay for the simulator and add-ons, I would rather pay and have more time flying than spending hours on putting new blocks in to OS database. Again, do not take me wrong, I volunteered many hours and will continue to do so but it would be nice to find a way to use vailable data sources ( even paying for it) to be used so we can see more real life look for the cities in particular. Cheers, AJ

Leading Edge Simulations Saab 340A Experience

Vincent, I do not remember all details but anything above 25,000' gave me a climb rate of 100 FPM or less. Maybe I should just wait till the plane gets there. Cheers, AJ -

@Canox: yes, if you program FMS right, the plane will execute autoland. Keep working on that voice thing, I will definitely try it one day, that is like first officer or copilot, very cool. I will be definitely waiting for the vide, please take your time but record a lot. man, they always come up with new things, that is cool about simulation in general. @ Vincent: wow, I bet that was quite an experience. I do not know how hight thunderstorms can go but did you fly Saab 340A to 30,000'? How did you do that, I was having problems to go any higher than 25,000' Cheers, AJ -

Well, FMS programming is pretty easy since you go through few cycles. The exciting part is that the plane does all you proggrammed in, the bad part is that you are just a spectator.... Let me know how the Voice Attack works, sounds like a cool idea. That sound program almost looks like having a flight officer, right? I might even try it but I will wait for your experiences with it. Post here or send me PM , keep me updated. So much to do and not enough time.... Cheers, AJ -

I took a break. Lerning the B772 now and trying to make some traffic with World Traffic plug-in. Glad to hear you are having fun with the racing simulator, diversion is good. I wonder it we will ever reach the point when we just fly using X-Plane without constant tweaking, trying, fixing and starting over.... Good to hear from you Cannox. Cheers, AJ -
No John, Tom just did not have a chance to reply, I hope. Cheers, AJ
-
Tom, is that SS before of after? I am serious. I am kinda lost here. Cheers, AJ
-
Thank you, Cameron. Cheers, AJ

Blacky, I know what you mean but I do not know if my editing skills would be good enough. Plus it takes time which I do not have THAT much. On the other hand, it is a shame that Open Street data is so empty in a big cities areas like PHL or JFK. Well, we will see how things go. Cheers, AJ

I remember Tom replying to the same question, the answer was , if remember correctly, "no" BUT you will not get it to look as shown in the video and Tom's and other guy's screenshots. Cameron, I am sorry to give the different answer but I am sure that was what Tom said some time in the past. Cheers, AJ
