Look hon, I don't really care one way or the other as I have said in another post I am too long in the tooth to care about tinpot dictators, but to put your mind at rest and so you can see for yourself go to the org and look at this thread. forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=65925 or search for Femina, you can see the few posts I made from there I then sent a polite non insulting post to Nicolas, which said I felt I had been treated in an aggressive manner and asking why. But please don't take any offence. I don't really think you are calling me a liar you just hadn't been treated that way and couldn't believe that someone else could. I still have trouble believing it myself. I have used a different account to access the thread this morning so at this point I know it is still there. The strange thing is my original account cannot even log out as she got banned while logged in, so I have no way to access my account to log off.

Sorry i don't agree. I got banned merely for answering a post someone asked earlier that day asking if you had to pay customs in the uk when ordering from the org. I said i didn't think so as my own orders had not incurred vat so I doubted whether duty would be incurred either. I went on to mention in the same post if it would be possible for members who had purchased from the store to be able to have acceptance as not a spambot for posting purposes. That apparently was a big sin which got the post locked and me banned.Nothing to do with politics at all just a little commensense question or two that moderator xdave took exception to. Followed by a polite email asking why.

Thanks for this I cannot view the .org thread as they have me banned for some imagined slight. Works a treat now your a life saver.

Old post I know but I am having a problem on my Ipad2 with remote cdu. On the CRJ-200 The connection works fine but I cannot resize it in either safari or a cloud browser. It wont pinch and the bottom keys are just off screen. I can sometimes get the image to jump up and uncover the buttons but as soon as I make a key entry it drops down and hides bottom buttons again. Any ideas at all please, web searches haven't produced any results so far.

If you are talking about the X-plane client then apart from the demo area there are no airports in the package but you can download many from here and from other x-plane support sites and they are very simple to install generally. Oh and a lot of them are free. Like MS FSX there are also a number of highly detailed payware airports from commercial developers also.

I was kicked from .org totally unnecessarily and for whatever reason deemed to be worth a lifelong ban, a reason I may add that still puzzles me, But I agree with the sentiment here the org is a great place for files downloads and obscure knowledge about the client, software tuition some great files and don't forget a lot of developers place their upgrades there. So yes, the x-plane community would be a lot poorer if we lost the .org, If you don't like the management then that's understandable, but please don't lump the .org site into that dislike.

They gave no reason at the time and they still havn't despite an email sent to them, and the post I replied to was posted earlier the same day. So I am as befuddled as you, but I shall not worry my head about it I am too long in the tooth to care about immature little tinpot dictators.

Now I know that Caronado don't advise you do this but if you have the Bombardier Challenger Captains Edition and you copy its resouces plugins SASL folder 64 bit version to the C337H you can remove the pilots huge head that stops you using this wonderful item in 10.20. I spotted it over there when they advised its an unrecommended mod. I don't know if it affects much else of the C337H performance so I will give it a try. It will do as a stop gap until Caronado gets it's own version of the plugin out as long as it doesn't impact the C337H adversly. Well I went out flying at Fiji where the Challenger is parked and looked aound the island for about an hour in the Skymaster and i am happy to report that the Skymaster can now take advantage of all that great 64 bit rendering going on around it with this temporary mod.

Well this is a very enlightening post. I recently started using x- plane and joined a few sites one being the Borg. i do like that name. Unfortunately while trying to find a couple of posts I could reply to, so I could have the privilege of posting on the forums, I made the terrible mistake of answering a newcomers post who was asking if, as a UK resident he would have to pay import duty on purchases from the Borg store. My answer was along the lines of I hadn't been charged VAT so I didn't think so. These two posts resulted in a terse reply from a moderator, a locked thread and a no longer access to the forums. I presume the OP of the thread got banned also. Sent an email telling them I was shocked ... And my partner who is also on our family router finds she has been blocked also. I left mmorpg's for this crazy tyrannical attitude, seems like flight sims have similar problems. I hope I havn' t cooked my goose here as well by posting this.
