By FemkeThis is my first forage into making anything in a flight sim, so I am a total newby, be kind please.
The item was made exclusively in Google Sketchup who I would like to thank for their great free program, and I would like to thank Marginal for his wonderful Sketchup to X-Plane exporter.
Constructive criticism would be wonderful. Oh, and all files are in the package as I am not sure which files I can delete from the Sketchup export process
This file contains a TV transmission antenna, radio transmission mast three cell phone towers and a microwave repeater tower.
They can be used freely in non-commercial scenery projects.
The dimensions are:
TV Tower: Approx 150m (height)
Radio mast: Approx 115m (height)
Cell towers: 6m, 28m, 35m, 50m
By Tom KnudsenWashington3D version 1.1 is an opensource made package gathered from
OSM data provided by OpenstreetMap. NA packages include state by state rendering and are modified and assembled by the author above.
Package includes 3D buildings, landclass, objects, roads and rails for whole countries.
The new package is for X-Plane 10+
WHAT IS NEW
Corrected facades to ensure that no "blueish" buildings are build from OSM data. This package is builded with a new redesigned
By Charlie4 different hangars I made that ended up not being used.
.obj and .skp included so that they can be easily modified.
By uwespeedThis file is osolete as from now, don't download it anymore - I uploaded the content of this file in a library.
The advantage of the library for developers and users: it saves several megabytes disk space.
By Jordan P.This is an X-Plane 10 autogate add-on for EGLL areosoft for copywrite issues i have only included the gates and the approach lines done by me.
EGLL or London Heathrow is Englands busiest airports!
It is home to British Airways!
There is lots of stuff about it on wikipedia so i won't post it here but feel free to go check it out.
This has a more complex installation process but i will try to explain it and if anyone is willing to make a video on how to install it i would love it!
INSTALLATION PROCESS -
1. First Unzip the EGLL Autogate.zip
2. Put in your custom scenery folder
3. Then move the objects from that folder into Areosoft - EGLL Heathrow's objects folder
4. Open up WED and delete the The other EGLL areosoft gate and keep yours there
5. Save it and there you have it
This does require some WED ability so a video would help a lot you can also leave the folder in your custom scenery folder and skip step 3-5 but the EGLL gates would still be there.
If you know a better way to install this please do tell me but this is the only way i could think of.
If you see any problems please do tell me so i can fix them strait away! Like stand 182 doesn't move (we are trying to fix this)

More coming soon so any questions please do ask if you want me to do any airport.
By uwespeedBased on my static European vehicles I made a library.
Advantage for scenery developers: they can use the vehicles for filling parking sites on airports (or where ever they want), without wasting some megabytes for every scenery.
Advantage for users: they have to install the library only once, and don't get their disk space filled up with vehicles in every scenery.
Installation: place the library in your Custom Scenery folder.
Important for scenery developers: if you want to use this static library, be sure to use the "european_vehicles_static" entry as seen below. Otherwise you may get cars from the Vehicle Library Extension, which contains cars casting lights (what isn't very realistic on parking sites ).
This replaces the default Deer files, Deer_Buck.obj and deer_doe.obj
Although Australia has (feral) deer they are rarely found around airstrips. You are however more likely to find kangaroos almost everywhere away from the major cities.
With permission of FlybyGuy, I’ve animated his static 3D kangaroo.
