  1. first edition MCP/GMC710 of G1000 is on ....the way sorry guys, we don't have link so far, first edition we made five, and at the moment they are under testing. https://www.bilibili.com/video/av37257957 Host side software is not mandatory, but it will definitely improve user experience because rotation acceleration is implemented on host PC side more important is software is open source, it is written in Lua. you need FlyWithLua installed on X-Plane https://github.com/quickmake/QGMC710 although QGMC710 is born for Hotstart TBM-900, it is not limited to TBM-900. it is plug-and-play USB HID device like your keyboard. so it supports all aircraft you can imagine, and it supports not only for X-Plane, DCS, P3D, FSX etc should work fine as well

  2. Guys, friends, Nasa boffins, I have flown every sim since 1985 (I'm 43), Tomahawk, DI Tornado, Gunship all FS series, FSX to death and now XP11 and DCS. I switched to XP11 only because of the IXEG release. I can say that this is the best aircraft out there for immersion, physics, atmosphere etc. Those things are not easy to program, but they are there in abundance. I will admit, I got interested in Zibo, tried it and can honestly say that it's a freeware plane with lots of bells and whistles, but the base is freeware, you feel that and you see it every time you look up at that overhead panel. IXEG is payware, you feel it more than anything and you see it, obviously some bells and whistles are missing, and some VNAV things need improved, but we are flying a classic, things will be broken on classics that are flying today, the shortfalls in this model make you a better pilot in my opinion! I look forward to future updates, free or paid, and wish the developers good luck, and ask them kindly to checkin with any tiny bit of news to keep our heads up

  4. I've done 6 take-offs and landings and have found a major improvement with the following: Following the instructions in the downloadable Socata POH page 4.4.47 2014 edition . There is copyright so can't cut and paste. And using the default Laminar keyboard settings for aileron , rudder and pitch settings made for much finer , much better control of all the trims Previously I was using scroll wheels on the joystick/throttle for trim control . In particular trim for rudder is 2/3 of the way from the midpoint to the green marker in CAVOK conditions . Thanks to Goran for making me think about this more deeply.
