prattpt6 Posted May 1, 2016 Report Posted May 1, 2016 This light used to come on when there was no power in the flight deck and you could see at night when it was dark. It is no longer working.
jettojig Posted May 1, 2016 Report Posted May 1, 2016 That was actually a bug, there shouldn't be a light on with no power! try using the X-Plane flashlight if you can't see (look in the view menu, I think).
Litjan Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) The light on the left side doubles as the "emergency exit light" - it will shine whenever the emergency exit light switch is armed (and no power on the AC buses) or when it is on. In a previous version, it was defaulted to "arm" for cold+dark, this was not correct. It would drain the battery over night... So now, flip the guard down to get it going - or use the flashlight, or the dome light. Jan Edited May 2, 2016 by Litjan
