brucie1dog Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 The weather looks great, but what I am noticing is when you are flying through heavy cloud layers or bad weather the plane has a zig zag outline. As soon as I get out of the heavy weather the zig zag outline disappears. Is there a way around that? Quote
Cameron Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 Just looks like a matter of you needing to up your anti aliasing. Quote
brucie1dog Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 I changed it to Mega but it's still there. Quote
Cameron Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 Not sure what to say. Antialiasing is a factor of your video card and Laminar. We don't render airplanes, so you'll need to probably contact Laminar if you want to discuss it further! Quote
brucie1dog Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 I inderstand. It just started when I installed the connector. Has anyone else reported this issue? Quote

This may be do to the fact your texture settings are on high with "compress texture to save vram" turned on. I don't think your graphics card can handle higher than what you have for your texture settings, but that may be the issue. Quote
brucie1dog Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 I just changed it. Did I make the correct changes? Quote
brucie1dog Posted April 16, 2016 Author Report Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) I changed to the above settings but unfortunately the plane still looked zig zaggy and the clouds covers started to flicker when in heavy overcast and heavy cloud layer. I am going to have to watch the zig zagging more carefully as it seems to happen at higher altitudes (not 100% certain about that yet). Will monitor these occurrences.
