mgeiss Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) While I really appreciate all the improvements you guys put into SMP over the years, and I will keep updating, I have to say I like the look of the clouds in the first video the most. I never used SMP 1, so I can't say if it's just a coincidence or if the clouds did generally had that nice look to them in v1. What I like in paticular is the cloud colour from pure white to grey, while in SMP 3 I mostly get varying shades of grey (no pun intended). Edited April 12, 2016 by mgeiss Quote
azpilot Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 Excellent video! Still have to install the update. Quote

The V1 low resolution clouds are still available in V3.1 just check them in the UI "Low Rez" Quote
mgeiss Posted April 13, 2016 Report Posted April 13, 2016 It's not so much the resolution but the brightness of the clouds. In the v1 video they look much brighter than the clouds I usually get with v3, even when flying on top. Quote
ONDR4.cz Posted April 13, 2016 Report Posted April 13, 2016 True, especially compared to real life, where clouds are almost blindingly white when flying above them. 1 Quote
