charlie130 Posted December 2, 2015 Author Report Posted December 2, 2015 Great video David!Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThanks Bill. It helps if you have a good first officer;-) Quote
Goran_M Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Good video, but might I suggest reading up on the CTOT. You had an engine overheat on both engines for quite a while. Quote
charlie130 Posted December 6, 2015 Author Report Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Good video, but might I suggest reading up on the CTOT. You had an engine overheat on both engines for quite a while.Aha! Thank you. That's why the checklists need to be run at each stage! I am used to flying with a first officer who runs the checklists, with me, after each flow.Pretty soon, we will have that first officer, in the shape of Multi Crew Experience. This aircraft is on the "to do" list. You see, the more realistic the simulation, the more you require real world practises! This sim is spot on. Love it!Incidentally, if I had continued with the overheat, would a fire have resulted.....hmmm? Must try that out.:-)Thanks.David Edited December 6, 2015 by charlie130 Quote
Goran_M Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Engine fires can definitely happen, under the right conditions. Fire handles also work. Just keep an eye out on the engine overheat warning lights and your torque gauge. Torque should never exceed, I THINK, 107% for more than a few seconds. Edited December 6, 2015 by Goran_M Quote
