Colin S Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Okay, thanks to whoever did the little tiny update to YXX for the gateway, that made me happy. People care about Canada. Yay. However, I realized that something substantial was still missing: the main taxiway that runs parallel to the main runway. So, I decided to modify it. I have no completely rebuilt the entire airport from the ground up, and along with the gateway version, I will be uploading an orthophoto underlay to go along with it. 2 Quote
scotchegg Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 Very good. Love this area so a nice base would be great. 1 Quote

Colin S Posted April 21, 2015 Author Report Posted April 21, 2015 I have hit a serious road block. Calling all SketchUp obessees. What am I doing wrong? I know textures are messed up - I'm not done, I am doing a half-way point test to put it in the right place, but this happened. Awesome job Colin! Any chance for other Vancouver landmarks such as Canada place? Maybe. My next priority is the Alex Fraser Bridge since it's good for flying into YVR. Quote

Sethesus Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Is it a component? If it is, try exploding it before exporting the .obj Quote
Colin S Posted April 21, 2015 Author Report Posted April 21, 2015 Yes, I fixed it - a component issue that I wasn't aware of. I have a new problem, thought, and I can't solve it the way it's asking me to. I have restarted skp multiple times, still giving me this message: Quote
Sethesus Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 I've had that happen to me. I'm not quite sure how I fixed (or if it resolved itself somehow). Quote
