ointment Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Contact Laminar directly by e-mail or phone and they'll get you fixed up. You can e-mail Austin direct at austin@x-plane.com. Support InformationPhone: 1-913-269-0976Email: http://info@x-plane.com Quote
AngeloM Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 I don't think it will be a good idea to contact Austin for this reason, much better the generic e-mail address. Quote
captainamerican Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 I lost my dvd back when I had X-Plane 9. I never had the issue again because I burned my dvd to an iso that i had on my computer forever. If you have 8gb available I would do the same, just makes life so much easier. Quote
ointment Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) I don't think it will be a good idea to contact Austin for this reason, much better the generic e-mail address.I gave a full set of X-Plane 9 to a high school kid as a gift because he was interested in aviation. When I asked him how it was going a few months later, he said he decided he really wasn't that interested. I asked him for the software back so I could give it to someone else and he returned all the discs except disc 1. I wrote a quick note to Austin and he forwarded it to the guy who could send me the disc. Since I had purchased 5 copies of X-Plane 9 from Laminar directly, they had a record of the sale and they were more than happy to send me a new disc 1. I see no reason for it to be a bad idea to contact Austin directly. He's always been gracious and helpful with any request I've sent him in the past, no matter how trivial.
