3saul Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 ...are the clouds in this video following me? I took a 1 hour flight and the thin cloud layer you see here never moves. Has anybody else noticed this? I'm at 36,000 feet. XP 10.3b8 sMP 2.0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLuO1uGJZDo&list=UUWcCaSa2017BFfN3Dm6DRnw 1 Quote

3saul Posted August 29, 2014 Author Report Posted August 29, 2014 ok...so this was intended to report what I thought might be a bug. Any comments from the creators? Quote
sundog Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 It's working as intended. Cirrus clouds have distinct edges, so we can't really tile them indefinitely. Instead we have a really big cirrus cloud that remains over the camera position, and since it's usually viewed from far away, its lack of actual motion relative to the camera generally isn't noticeable. In fact you're the first to notice. Quote
