dwayne299 Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) Hello Goran, I have a video of the aircraft's vertical stabilizers moving up and down randomly even though I just loaded the aircraft in cold and dark. Sometimes the rudder moves as well. Also the propellers are moving quite fast even though the aircraft is off (not sure if that is due to wind). I have tried disabling all plugins with the exception of Gizmo64 but I still got the same result. Here is the video. Regards, Dwayne Edited May 2, 2014 by dwayne299 Quote
Cameron Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 That would be X-Plane stimulating control movement in the wind. Quote
dwayne299 Posted May 2, 2014 Author Report Posted May 2, 2014 I see. I didn't think X-Plane did that. So is there a way to lock the stabilizers from moving? I used the gust lock but they still move. Quote

ointment Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Does this only happen with the Saab? Just curious. Quote
Cameron Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Does this only happen with the Saab? Just curious. Nope! Quite a number of other aircraft will show this too depending on various parameters and features of the aircraft. It's highly dependent on control surface locks being present or not. This is probably one of the oldest features in X-Plane that I can remember (albeit not very pretty to look at)...as far back as v5 at least. Quote
