FloB Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 What am I supposed to see in and above a thick overcast-stratus cloud layer?Actually I can see something from the ground, but as soon as I climb into it or above it this something disappears and I have clear skies all around...is that "normal"?Medium overcast-setting in Skymaxx. gcharrie Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Hi, Same for me.I sent a mail to the the skymax support 2 days ago about this (but still no answer at the moment). I got this issue with SMP 1.3.2 : with a stratus layer and the overcast layer quality set to low in SPM : sky is completely clear ! With quality set to medium I just get some cumulus. When I uninstall and revert back to 1.3.1 I don't have the issue any more. My specs : windows 7 64b, nvidia 334.89.I did a full clean install of xp (new copy in parallel of my existing install), updated to 10.25, install only SMP 1.3.2 on it, xp and spm with default settings : I got the issue too. strider Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 Is this being fixed or we SOL with the stratus clouds ? Quote
Cameron Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 Is this being fixed or we SOL with the stratus clouds ? At this point in time we have nothing to offer. When we do we'll be sure to announce such. SkyMaxx Pro has been a heavily supported product, and for all intents and purposes, we have worked to always solve issues within our control. We are either working on it or it is not something we can currently work on without Laminar's additions if things go silent on the radar. Quote
