Hey guys, anyone know how to do the flight recording ?   as putting up screen shots is not doing anything to justify the awesomeness.

Have you tried Movavi Screen Capture? Works great with X-Plane on my Mac without any FPS loss. With the demo version you can record up to 15 minutes.

What the heck do you think you are guys are doing ? have you got no sense at all ? people need to sleep too.

Well, I recon that I myself often need to sleep, but play around with W2XP or even doing 3D stuff ^^ don't complain though... we don't sleep much as well, for all of you ^^

Hi :)

@ Blacky

I would if possible know what's the correct folders and range in the customer scenery you use ?

For me personnaly I have different buildings, houses they are flickered, I presume that they are twice objects on the same place and I will resolve this situation.

So, can you be so gentle to communicate us the right thing to do.

Thanks and K.R.

Guro, try using 0.4.1a on the website, where I've reduced the tolerance from 1.5m to 1.0m. This is an issue with some of the houses being too big and colliding with the house next to them. I've now reduced the tolerance so that it happens less.

Also, I think Simheaven has uploaded some new sceneries using the beta released on Sunday

Salut Guro :-)

Sorry, overseen it!

Well, by default the tolerance of fitting buildings was 1,5m.... on my scenes I had no flickering, as I changed it directly to only 1m of tolerence. This problem was also posted on the german forum, and setting the tolerance in the config.xml from 1,5m to 1m solves the problem.

let me know if you're still in trouble with ;-)

EDIT: I THINK that on simheaven he rerendered some scenery with a 1m tolerance... not sure.... But let it said too (thnks tony for reminder me that), FLICKERING won't disapear totally. Flickering is a default option into xplane you can't just get rid of :-)

Others correct me if i'm wrong :-)

@czoog, care to share with us why you disliked my post

Oh No.... it was a totally accident, Tony!  Sorry...i didn't realize i hit that button...wierd... and I just now noticed this post.  I love where your tool is headed.  I have not had a chance to try it...mainly because I am waiting for my new computer to be up and running.  I am way low on disk space on this one.  Keep up the great work!!  Anybody know how to remove a dislike?

Hi there,

just tried 4.1. stuff from simheaven (switzerland and austria) and wow! I'm very impressed.
This is a major improvement over the default scenery and FPS are great. Many thanks to all who are involved and contributed !!!
This scenery is plausible AND realistic.

Best regards

Flo

If anyone can take me some pictures of local supermarkets, e.g. Edeka, Lidl, Carrefour, Tesco, etc.. then please let me know.

Basically following the below rules:

  • Taken in even light, i.e. not in direct sunlight, to eliminate shadows or discoloration.
  • Face on for 2 or more walls of the building (or sections of the walls). Angled shots are difficult to correct and use
  • Preferably free of obstructions such as people or parked cars, but this isn't always possible, so these are normally edited out

Sorry still no fotos from my side. The wether here has just been a nightmare.

What kind of supermarkets were you thinking of? Standalone shopping center style? Around here we often have a supermarket occupying the ground floor of a residential building. It woud look something like this

Here in Switzerland the most common Supermarkets are Migros and COOP, but you won't almost find these in other European countries. Still interested in fotos?

Hi Caruso

Actually we have Coop in Poland as well, it's also in the UK :)

The pictures need to be completely face on, ones taken from a corner or angle are really difficult to use for textures, i.e. I couldn't really use the ones of Migros you've posted, as I couldn't align in to a 3D model. So you'd need to stand at the front of the building, and take the picture that way, so the image is a straight as possible.

We can use anything, as long as it's straight and not angled. e.g. If you take a picture of the just the shop part of the full building, we could use that

Thanks

Tony

Ah yes mate, but I have X-Plane 12 Beta 3 and I'm using World2XPlane v10.5.1

Incidentally, I love Innsbruck. Spent some time down there for work. Stayed in a hotel near to the airport, we're not doing too bad :-)

WHAT ?

From where did you get XPX 12 ? and W2XP 10.5.1 hmmm something is fishy.

Hey I think that could be somewhat  possible   "+ - "    . You just need to get the best texture quality I guess
