Hi guys

I have XSquawkBox 1.2b installed and have an odd issue since installing SkyMaxx Pro 1.1. VATSIM online traffic isn't visible during daytime.

I tested it with a friend of mine. When he placed his aircraft right next to mine, I could see the shadow of his aircraft but not the aircrafts itself. Also the enourmous Nav-, Beacon- and Strobelights are not visible at that time of day.

During dawn, sunset and at night, everything goes back to normal. To simulate what the issue looks like, I manually chaged the time of day:

Anybody experience similar problems or even better, know what to do to resolve them?

Cheers

Please disregard. The cause of the issue seems to lie somewhere else.

After uninstalling SkyMaxx Pro the issue still exists.

So instead of spreading rumours about issues that do not have anythign to do with the great product, I'd rather thank the developers for this amazing package and all the hard work that was put into creating it.

@Jaggo82 - Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a shot and report whether it worked out for me or not. Is it an issue that came with XSB 12.b? Never had it before.

Yep, because XSB 12.b is compiled using the new SDK. The old CSL files are not.. A result is their textures having troubles with Global shadows, preventing themselves to be rendered correctly in total. Just switch to "3d on aircraft only" and you should be happy.

This problem should be sorted out, once Next-Gen CSL are on their way. But this will take a while...
