ansorgj Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Brining X-Plane up today with my current favorite, the Corvalis, I am greeted with a "Product activation required" message - ups, what's that? It worked great during the last few days? Ok, I enter my email and password (trying a wrong password first) and I get "You have not purchased this product yet." Ahem, what is going on? Please help! I have trouble with the wireless card in my computer and have activated a LAN connection today. Please don't tell me this is the reason that I need to reactivate? Thank youJens
ansorgj Posted April 11, 2010 Author Report Posted April 11, 2010 Arg, it's true! I disabled the LAN connection and Corvalis does load again, licenced. Now I'm stuck with beeing online OR flying this aircraft but having no internet connection! The same goes for the Falco :-(Guys, this can't be serious - am I not allowed to make such a simple change as to dis/enable a network connection on MY OWN Computer? Can't yo make the hardware dependency a little less strict? Thank you :-(Jens
Cameron Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Jens,In the future this kind of tech support should go through X-Aviation's contact form: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.phpWe make it a policy to not do activation tech support over the forums for security reasons, but I'll make an exception to this this one time rather than re-directing you to the contact form.We have a lot we are working on at the moment, and one of those things is a license management portal for customers. This will allow people like yourself to manage your licenses without contacting us, so just know we're working to improve things over time.In the interim, I've added provisions to your account and you should now be able to activate your Falco on the LAN.
