SwissCyul Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Hey!!! I noticed that some aircraft in X Plane aren't on the ground correctly. They are floating a few centimetres over the ground. This is really annoying. How do i fix this? I tried several things in plane maker but i didn't find a fix yet. Can somebody help me with this case? I attached some screenshots Quote
tkyler Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 How do i fix this? I tried several things in plane maker but i didn't find a fix yet. Make the "leg length" variable in x-plane just a bit shorter. Quote
SwissCyul Posted August 12, 2013 Author Report Posted August 12, 2013 Make the "leg length" variable in x-plane just a bit shorter. Thanks for your help. But i am not used to all those variables, so can you please write a description of what you mean? Quote
tkyler Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 1. Open Plane-maker2. Open the aircaft in question3. go to the menu: Standard > Landing Gear. Click on the "Gear Loc" tab if you're not already on it4. towards the bottom, description is: "eagle-claw, leg length" You''ll see two boxes for each landing gear...so six boxes across usually. The second box for each landing gear is the leg length. (The first box usually is zero). Lower that number just a bit and go back and forth till you get it like you want it. Quote
