stayup Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 i am using X-Plane 10 and recently downloaded Simple Pushback and placed it in the plug in folder. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I have tried using the default hot key, shift+f1, with no success. Anyone else have this problem? Is there another pushback utility , freeware or pay ware, that will work?Would appreciate help with this issue. Thanks, Quote
john82088 Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Are you using 64bit? I think it only will work in 32bit. John Quote
stayup Posted May 3, 2013 Author Report Posted May 3, 2013 Thanks, John , for the response. I do use the 64 bit version, but I did try the 32 bit and that did not work either. Do you know of any other push back utilities that work with x-plane 10? I'm somewhat surprised that x-plane 10 doesn't include a push back function. Thanks,Irv Quote
AF380 Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 theres one on the .org, its called "simple pushback" theres no car but it does the pushback sequence. just use your rudder to navigate where to go. Quote
stayup Posted May 3, 2013 Author Report Posted May 3, 2013 Airfrance, that's the one I downloaded that I can't get to work. Quote
AF380 Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 HMMMMM, did you place the correct .xpl for your platform in resources>plugins? like windows.xpl, mac.xpl, linux.xpl Quote
stayup Posted May 4, 2013 Author Report Posted May 4, 2013 Airframe, I did. Checked it a couple of times. Quote
AF380 Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 mmmmm, there could be something wrong with x-plane itself not reading the file. but at this point i dont know what else to say. i mean you could just try restarting x-plane and see if it helps but other than that, i got nothing. Quote
SwissCyul Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 Try this: http://www.xpgoodwayteam.org/site_xpushback/Site/Welcome.html It's a very good plugin with lots of trucks and extra features!! The download is at the bottom of the page! Quote

stayup Posted May 7, 2013 Author Report Posted May 7, 2013 Finally figured out that it only works with 32bit and for some reason I had to change the hot key....i changed it to K and it worked . Like to thank everyone for their help.Irv Quote

Quote
nickff Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 should i use 32 bit because it crashes every time i use it i use x plane 10 64 bit Quote
SwissCyul Posted January 13, 2014 Report Posted January 13, 2014 Then your installation is probably wrong. To solve the problem you should delete the whole python installation and redo it. It didn't work for me either the first time. But I followed the procedure again and it works. So please read the manuals for python and it should work Quote
nickff Posted January 14, 2014 Report Posted January 14, 2014 last question can you send me the link for that and then i should be complete because im not shure if i understand the python stuff Quote
