Sopwith Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 I wonder if anyone knows of scenery for NZ. I recall reading about some a couple of years ago but other than the occasional area such as Auckland am unable to find any.
garrettm30 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 The first place I always check is this Google Maps page that is a collection of X-Plane scenery. There were three items for New Zealand when I checked just now. Two of them are by a TheoGregory, which I assume to be the same as the TheoGregory on this site--but I probably shouldn't assume. Specifically, there are the Greater Auckland Area, Nelson Airport, and Milford Sound.

I've got a spare day today (kinda) . I might over haul it. Christchurch was being worked on but I haven't had time for a while.EDIT: Typo

Dezigns Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Hi guysI have downloaded & installed NZ-topo-1.0rc1.zip, but when I try to load X-Plane, I get this message-Found a bad-location beacon!Christchurch IntlCustom Scenery/NZ/Earth nav data/apt.datPull this bad-location beacon out of apt.dat or get it within 10 miles of the airport!(airp.cpp line 962)Any ideas on how to fix this? I am running X-Plane 9.50R3Thanks for any help
