Hey Mike,

Its more about the 787 then your plane.

Didn't Boeing cancel the 787-3 due to insufficient orders for the aircraft? Atleast this is what was reported in Aviation Week years ago.

Just curious

Yup, Boeing cancelled the -3 when ANA or JAL cancelled the last of theirs.

So I assume there will be a paintkit?

not a complex one, we don't want other people painting liveries since we're going to cover all of them, there will be a basic white jet for fictional paints

Well could I just get the complex version if I can see where there is room for improvements with liveries? I'm really good at liveries. :D

EPORT aviation graphics and master painter MHuerta have it covered, thank you for the offer.

From Michael's signature, it looks like the default FMC is being used. I don't blame them though, if a custom one was made it would take a whole lot longer and probably not remain a free project...

Michael's signature shows WIP so you can't judge the release version by only looking at it. On one of the first three pages it is written that 787 will have plugin with all systems simulated, including FMC.

Oh wow, thanks for correcting me - if the FMC really is simulated this aircraft will be perfection!

Having done a little reading, it seems the default FMS was planned to be in the initial release with a custom one coming later.
