Real photos ( very sparse available ) show something else.White over the cheatline and bare metal under the cheatline.THAT part (lower) wil be the most difficult , lets see what I can do with that.To be continued.CheersLeen Edited August 9, 2012 by Leen de Jager Quote
Pirx Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 You have a love story with this aircraft, and Leading Edge with you I supose... Few images avaible. I would like to help more but It seems that almost any image of that livery is avaible. In some it seems to have the upper fuselaje in white, and the number in a white circle in the nose and the tail, but not in all.http://www.pprune.org/aviation-history-nostalgia/344975-malaga-dc3-iberia.htmlhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/jortegafigueiral/2423301829/in/photostreamRegards, Quote
Goran_M Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 I'm in total awe and envy at what Leen is capable of and completely appreciative of what he is doing. He has done all these repaints at his own bequest. I have never asked him to make any of them. Actually, after the first few, I asked him if he wants to texture all my future projects in a paid position. He said it was just a hobby and he wants to keep it that way. Some hobby! Quote
Leen de Jager Posted August 10, 2012 Author Report Posted August 10, 2012 (edited) Thanks for your support guys.White on top ,cheat in the middle and a bare*-belly. (* better said bare-ish )It wasn`t that hard after all.Its like catching a flea , you just have to know how to do it.CheersLeen Edited August 10, 2012 by Leen de Jager Quote
