MacAviator
I know how to use Photoshop and all, but I've never repainted a plane fro X-Plane yet. I'm working on a CRJ repaint, and have found the paint kit, but I have no idea how my repaint when it's all done. Any tutorials on this? steven winslow
Can you rephrase your question so we know what you really want to know? You have no idea how to do WHAT with your repaint?
MacAviator
How to I load it into X-Plane so I can select the livery?
Ntr09
Go to your CRJ-200 folder and look at the file structure. Just mimic the other liveries with your files.-NR
steven winslow
Well, it really depends on the aircraft you are painting. For the Carenado Seneca II, you do a file structure like this:Carenado Seneca II>liveries>livery_name>objects>fuselage.pngOf course, you have to have the wings and any other texture files necessary to complete the livery. With that said, you have to know what to name your files, so the best thing to do is to look at the other liveries in the liveries folder and make sure you have the same structure and the same naming conventions.Does that help? larjeet
With aircraft such as th e Falco you can just make a new copy of it in a different subfolder and rename it and overwrite the original files with your newly painted files . also for aircraft such as the RV default airicraft . get plane maker to create the paint file and this can be left int the RV file or repackaged as its own folder with the afc file see photos below Edited May 19, 2012 by larjeet
