Hi! I was flying the IXEG 737 Classic Plus in Beta XP12, during my first official flight on VATSIM and I noticed some odd things.

1. During engine start, when introducing fuel, the engine seems to light off and before you know it, the starter cuts off at 2-3 seconds later. To me it feels the engine starts way too quickly upon light off.
2. Aural alerts like AP Disconnect and take off config (I test it before engine start :P) warning horn seems to be severely glitched. Only way to describe it is that the the horns are cut off and no spacing whatsoever between each blare of the horns. However, this is possibly an issues with the mango studio sound pack.
3. On AP Disconnect, the yoke controls (commands aircraft too) bugs out and commands full nose up, then down, then continues to do it over and over, like its correcting an oscillation. Is it possible its a yoke keybind issue?
4. On approach, after the yoke oscillations on disconnect, it appeared the aircraft was fighting me when I was landing (unless I was in a microburst but the weather wasn't that bad in Indiana tonight), I was struggling to regain altitude and roll.
5. On descent, I noticed that at any ______A restriction (stay above _____) and it levels out at said altitude, upon reaching the waypoint and allowed to descend, it will not descend again even in VNAV. Sometimes it won't do so even after cycling VNAV.

I love the classic 737. It's probably my favorite aircraft out there. However since I'm starting to get into VATSIM, it appears to be hurting my introduction. I think in the mean time I will need to ground her until I can figure out some issues. Some might be causes by me, but I'm not sure. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the feedback.

Your point about the engine starting speed is known - we are using the default X-Plane behavior and the initial ramp up to starter cutout speed is too fast, a fix for that is forthcoming. However I tuned the full startup to take exactly as long as the average start does in the real aircraft.

Your last point is also a know issue and well described in the pinned post

https://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/8526-things-that-are-not-going-to-be-in-v15/

which I put up to be fully transparent to prospective customers about what to expect and what not to expect from our model (see the last point about the FMS).

The other quirks you describe are unknown to me and may be a combination of third-party content (like your sound pack) and/or user error/hardware setup problems. If you could capture a short video of what is happening, I might be able to analyze what is going on - when you disconnect the autopilot there should be NO input to the flight controls whatsoever (except for the pilot´s inputs), so there should not be anything moving the yoke or interfering with your control at all.

Cheers, Jan
