diamonddriller Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Cockpit inspection number 35 - Battery Switch OFF. That's OK, but nowhere after does it tell you to turn it on! Do you mean ON in 35, or maybe it goes on in "Before Starting Engines" ? No big deal, but it's nice to get it right
jmf55 Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 (edited) Item 13 - BATT is ON. Logical? We should ask Mr. Spock. Edited January 3 by jmf55

No big deal, but it's nice to get it right It's an odd artifact of the checklist we referenced from real-world usage. I'm thinking that is more set under the guise of that checklist is run before your VIPs show up for their flight, and you don't want to drain the battery while waiting for them to show up. Turning the battery on prior to start is something that is assumed knowledge from their type rating
