rlw9sr Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 I have had trouble using the VORs. VOR2 works properly and the DME checks. The needle however points to 90' (not receiving the signal). VOR1 with the same frequency shows no DME and also appears to be inop. I apologize if there a quick/easy answer to the question--Thanks, Robert
Goran_M Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) Hi RobertCan you please post what VOR's you are tuning to and the exact location of the aircraft when all this happening?I have just tried this now at my test airport and I can confirm that both VOR needles and their associated DME's do work correctly, however, I would like to try it under the exact same conditions that you have.Also, screenshots of the radio panel and both RMI's with DME's would be ideal for me to get a great overall picture of whats happening.Goran Edited April 3, 2012 by Goran_M
PWJT8D Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Right off the bat about an hour into this aircraft I had a NAV/COM1 failure that resulted in this. A reset of the errors fixed the issue.
