wyhhero
Hi All, As a starter, I have some dumb questions regarding to the feature of Challenger 650. 1. How long can the ground power last for Challenger 650 once connected? Recently I encountered the issue in the game that when I connected the ground AC power and only use it as the power supply, after about 10 - 15 minutes, it will be disconnected automatically. Not sure if it is due to I switched on the air cons, or just connected the power in idle for too long? 2. Just curious about the Turb button. In real world, the Turb button (besides the disarm auto pilot switch) is said to do some relief of the impact from the turbulence, is there any downside of this mode to be turned on? If it is a relief of the impact, without any downside, why not to turn it on all the time? Appreciate for any answers to my silly questions. Thank you

I don't think there's a limit on the ground power unit(s) being available from the ground services. I've heard of people having the A/C GPU connected and actively powering the aircraft for hours at a time. But they will be removed if the plane moves. 11 hours ago, wyhhero said: If it is a relief of the impact, without any downside, why not to turn it on all the time? That's right, the TURB mode is for passenger comfort. Because it affects the autopilot responsiveness, I assume it's not on by default as it's considered "safer" to be more responsive under (ab)normal circumstances. 11 hours ago, wyhhero said: Appreciate for any answers to my silly questions. Not silly at all. Keep them coming.

Soarfinger
Hi, I have an even dumber question. How do you “walk” around the airplane? I can zoom around and change external view but in the videos I see them walking up to the 650 and maneuver around easily. For instance, I spent a long time trying to get a vantage point to be able to open the nose gear doors with that switch on the right of the nose but I could never get my view such that I could see or manipulate the switch. Thanks for any tips! Soarfinger

Soarfinger
Thank You Pils! It's the little things that make it so much more enjoyable.... I wasn't using career mode so I didn't see the hints. I think I'll be using that for now. Thanks again! Soarfinger
