Reuben Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Airborne XT-912A high-quality aircraft model being developed for for X-Plane.I'm pleased to announce the development of this popular micro-light, the XT912, for X-Plane.As some of you know, my name is Reuben Mowbray from XPFW, and am the author of the Cessna 310R project. As I have been waiting on resources and data for that model (which I have been able to obtain a large part of over the last few weeks), I have started a couple of other projects in efforts to learn how to model in Blender and over time, I have become more adept at using this awesome 3D design program. The XT912 project is one of those projects.I am some way from completing this model, and the time of completion depends on my own personal time to do so, however, be assured...it won't be too long. Please find project updates in this thread as I continue to develop this bird. Any comments and suggestions of features to be implemented are welcomed. Here are some pictures of the current state: Quote
Cameron Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Looking good, Reuben! I'm looking forward to seeing screenshots from within the simulator! Quote
Reuben Posted October 14, 2009 Author Report Posted October 14, 2009 Thanks Cameron. I'll post some in-sim shots soon. Currently I'm working on the 3D panel/instruments, so that should add some life to the plane. Quote
