GrahamH Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) I received my copy of x-plane 10 an Christmas day, and went to install the global scenery right away. Once I finished loading the DVD's onto my computer, I went straight to YVR (my home airport) to check it out. when I got there it looked like this, but only in the Vancouver area. I did a brief check, but everywhere else in the world seemed fine. Roads will appear if set, but traffic, objects, and trees will not.I tried reinstalling everything, I've tried scanning for damaged files, and tried changing the rendering options, but came up with nothing. alpilotx Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 Did you install Updates already? A few DSF (scenery) Tiles have been fixed - by Laminar - where this problem appeared. I have it on my desktopSimon (Simmo W), as far as I can see, the default scenery looks fine, as this screen shows. You can see pt. TOBS Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 There is no need to install Xplane in any program folder - you are free to install it wherever you want - I have it on a 4TB Raid0 with more the 2TB sceneries and it works fine.Cheers T.
