GusRodrigues Posted September 18, 2023 Report Posted September 18, 2023 X-plane 12 X-Plane 11 And this is the weird texture at night in the binder and pedestal. If any feedback is granted, I would say that the brightness of the analog pilots instrument is too intense, where you have to set it almost to minimum do handle the brightness. It could be related to HDR monitor and X-Plane HDR space, but yeah. I would describe like that. But on general. wow. That sent me back to my MCC training done in a 733 Level-D sim (motion was disabled to reduce costs). 1 Quote
judeb Posted September 22, 2023 Report Posted September 22, 2023 The brightness is an overall X-Plane 12 issue. It's the same with other aircraft. Quote
tkyler Posted September 22, 2023 Report Posted September 22, 2023 The ECAM "pie needle" illumination is missing, I've logged it and addressing it for the next patch. Can't explain the weird texture....XPlane 12 lighting still brings up surprised every now and then. -TK 2 1 Quote

GusRodrigues Posted September 25, 2023 Author Report Posted September 25, 2023 @tkyler the bug of the night texture bleeding into cockpit is still there, but a different one now. It's the ceiling lights and window lights that are bleeding in Quote
tkyler Posted September 25, 2023 Report Posted September 25, 2023 (edited) Agree that's a bug, not sure its a bug with the IXEG just yet. There are some tell-tale signs in your first screenshot that's its a hardware/driver type of bug...though the source we don't know . Its not night texture bleeding or spilling light sources. Historically, these types of visual anomalies would be caused by either poor UV mapping (coincident UV coords), a normal map with black in the color channel, or a LIT textures with an alpha channel in them, but in those cases, the anomaly is generally consistent all the time. I'd expect to see more reports from customers if it was a textural problem on our end. I'd say start with checking your graphics drivers. After that, try altering some graphics settings....it could be some type of "rendering mode" that's struggling....and please do post your hardware config here. On my end, I'll double-check my LIT textures for alpha channels (not supposed to be there for LITs) and I'll check my normal maps for black pixels. TK Edited September 25, 2023 by tkyler Quote
