cueceleches
Hi! Well, the title says it all... when I switch the panel lighting on, I go from 60 or 70 fps to the 30s... Is it something on my end or does it happen to someone else?
Coop
HDR panel lighting is expected to use some additional performance, but it will vary based on settings and graphics cards. I’d recommend trying other graphics settings to see if you can reduce the fps loss as that is much more significant of a drop than we are expecting. cueceleches
Thank you. I´ve got everything max out as graphics go on a RTX 4070. I will try to play with the settings to see which is the one that takes most of the fps.
Medway
I tried it out on my 6600xt and didn't notice any change in gpu usage.
XP-Pilot
yes, I also tested this once, and it's true. However, it is only 5 FPS for me
Medway
I just tried this again and depending on the angle (looking down) I went from 45fps to 32 to quite a lot of difference. But looking straight ahead from 32 to 30. So in practice not that much in normal use. That was with cabin lights. With panel lights turned up it went from 40 to 30 when looking straight ahead or down. Edited July 26, 2023 by Medway
