Finally, the weather broke and I am in the air. From PAVD to PAYA. Along the coast of southern Alaska. I have two or three more flights in Alaska then I will enter Canada and pass through the Vancouver area and then enter the lower forty eight.

I have around another five to six days of flying before I get home.

After a long day of flying today. About 5 and a half hours of flying time, I have finally out of Alaska and in BC Canada. Will be landing at Port Hardy CYZT.

Made my way down to Oregon. Almost home. I will try to make to 1L1 today in one 3 hour flight so I can kiss my wife hello. LOL

When I am flight simming, I live in the virtual world. My wife in the virtual world is the station chief at 1L1. I have been gone for over a month flying in Alaska.

Ok takeoff today was delayed because of some errands I have run this morning. The Piper arrow 3 is ready to fly soon.

My wife, in the virtual world, is a perfect 10 who hardly ages. She's my best friend, lifts me when I'm down and when I'm happy, she adds to that happiness. My wife is the real world also, but she likes to play along in the virtual world. We all ways talk about new pilots or what planes needs work and to get ready to fly. Just a fun thing to do.

Today, I am going to bring out the Piper Cherokee 140. Clean it up and service it and then take it for a spin.

It is 4 am in the morning and I up and talking about flying. wow. It is what I do all day everyday.

I am flying the Piper Cherokee 140 by vFlyteAir.  Going down to Parker, Arizona.

I will say the auto pilot on the cherokee is better than the arrow 3. The Cherokee will has hold alititude.

The Just Flight Arrow III has a hidden button to enable altitude hold. I know you're out of the Arrow at the moment, but I'll see if I can't locate the click spot if you like.

The hidden altitude hold button is just above the AP selector button on the word "Piper". See video:

Yep. Same with me. I usually try to squeeze in 2 legs after work and chores are done.
More on weekends, other duties permitting.

It's an addictive and time-consuming passion. 

But at least I can set things up and get going a lot faster than I could when I was still flying rw.
