pryoski Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Where can I get the remote CDU or link thereof? I'm a X-Aviation CRJ owner, but don't recall getting an email about this ... although it's highly likely that I could have missed the email ... Very much looking forward to this! Cheers! Quote
cessna729 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) Hi KrisIf you got the CRJ, youv'e got the Remote CDU all ready. Can you access the CDU on the same machine now, by entering http://localhost:18387 into the browser of your choice, or from a different machine if you enter the URL like this http://192.168.0.2:18387 Just replace "192.168.0.2" with the IP address of the machine running X-Plane with the CRJ loaded.Look at the files Manual/Remote-CDU-Howto.pdf for detailed usage instructions. .cessna729. pryoski Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) Thanks Cessna729 for the insight .Lol ... I'm a right old duffer, I read the first part of the thread about how it was going to be released and then all of a sudden it looked like people were already playing around with it. You've definitely made my day! I'm off to play with it now. Cheers! Edited March 22, 2013 by Kris Pryo Quote
skipper Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Hi, I just bought an iPad mini and had to realize, that the remote cdu is not fully displayed. The last line is cut off and thus renders the cdu useless. The cdu display seems to be completly locked, for I am neither able to pinch it, nor can I enlarge or scroll it in any way. I guess the problem would be fixed, if Safari could run in full screen mode. I searched the web and tried all I could think of, but to no avail. Is there a way to fix this issue? Thanx and cheers Peter Quote
skipper Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 Hi Phil, omg....believe it or not, I had read all posts until about 46, because I believed to have had read something about a solution for this problem somewhere and decided, that it was not in this forum. Should have gone on reading a few more posts..... Thanx and sorry for wasting your time;-) Cheers Quote

sizziano Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 How do you make this work on MAC? I don't ever remember getting the allow local network connections box. It works fine for the FF757. Quote
philipp Posted May 15, 2014 Author Report Posted May 15, 2014 If you enabled X-Plane once to accept connections, it works for all airplanes. So if you allowed X-Plane to accept connections when connecting to the 757 CDU, that will also have allowed it for the CRJ. Quote

philipp Posted May 15, 2014 Author Report Posted May 15, 2014 The technology is the same. It's literally the same code, because I made them both The URL is the same, the port is the same. You are not by any chance using the no-network patched CRJ? 1 Quote
