KirkR Posted June 6, 2022 Report Posted June 6, 2022 XPlane 11, MacOS, Challenger 650 Career Mode, resume last flight, type in new state name but Save button does not activate. Tried simple short names. See image, after I entered the state name. The Save button does highlight on mouse-hover, but clicking it does not result in the named state showing up in the list, even after restart. Is there an executable I need to give disk access on MacOS for this to work? What are the details around saving a state, and where are these stored? Thanks for any guidance, love the Challenger 650. Pils Posted June 7, 2022 Report Posted June 7, 2022 Can you provide the Log.txt from X-Plane, please. This screen state shows after you’ve loaded into an airframe and gone to the Airframe Manager? Airframes and their states are stored in the Output/CL650 directory in X-Plane’s location. Quote
KirkR Posted June 7, 2022 Author Report Posted June 7, 2022 The screen shows immediately after choosing Resume Last Flight. The log.txt is attached. Log.txt Quote

I don’t think you can save a state before loading into the plane first, as there’s nothing to save yet when the airframe manager first shows. If you want to start with a “fresh” plane you need to create a new airframe. Quote
KirkR Posted June 7, 2022 Author Report Posted June 7, 2022 How do I save the state after loading into the plane? I reviewed the options from the 650 menu once in the aircraft but did not see anything there. Is there somewhere I missed in terms of the docs where this is covered (states, airframes)? Really appreciate your inputs on this. Kirk Quote
KirkR Posted June 7, 2022 Author Report Posted June 7, 2022 Sorry, just a matter of going into the Airframe manager. My miss. Thanks again for your help. 1 Quote
