brucekn Posted June 6, 2022 Report Posted June 6, 2022 Besides being a thoroughly accurate model and having all the aspects of the real aircraft, and the fact that it's fun to fly, my limited time in the sim makes good use of the "situation save" feature. I have yet to see any lack of an accurate recovery of all the systems and data loaded, when I open up a "situation" at a later date. My question is the 28-day ARINC cycle. Am I correct that if I cycle the database to update the ARINC data, that this will have the effect of deleting flight plan information from the aircraft (if already previously entered and part of a saved situation)? The logic is that it would, since the system has no way of knowing if pre-loaded flight plan data is still valid, or even still exists. Thanks, Bruce.
