hermannk1 Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 I downloaded the two aircraft in question's updates today, but get a Warning when trying to update. On the X-Aviation Customer Purchase Validation (very first screen), when trying to enter my e-mail address, I get the Warning that I "need to specify a value"! Got no idea what it means! First time this happens when trying to update. See screenshot. Quote
Ben Russell Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 This is probably caused by Windows Display Scaling hiding the password input box. The following instructions show how to adjust the display scaling. You will probably have the most success with setting it to 100%. You may be able to use the "per app" settings to only adjust the settings for the installer if you make a shortcut to launch it from (and apply custom settings to..) https://www.lifewire.com/using-windows-10-display-scaling-4587328 Quote

Worked like a charm. Being 72 years old, I changed the font size of Windows 10 a few weeks ago and completely forgot about it. On flight sims since MSFS came out on a 7" floppy disk many, many years ago-I think in the 80's or 90's somewhere. Went through all possible versions of FSX and almost every other sim. Switched to X-Plane 11 and see no need for MSFS2020. In my opinion just eye candy... In any case thanks for the help. 1 Quote
