[Filed 2771] CTD following direct to waypoint preceding a discon

On a flight into Frankfurt today I recieved direct to KERAX, which was the start of the arrival. At this time I'd added the arrival, but not cleared to the discon between the arrival and the enroute phase. On entering a direct to KERAX, a crash occured.
