MediumRareBaku Posted January 26, 2022 Report Posted January 26, 2022 Just what the title says -- I can't seem to get LNAV and VNAV to arm on takeoff. I feel like I used to be able to arm them with of course the takeoff modes (N1/TOGA/HDG SEL) being the active modes through takeoff and then LNAV and VNAV would kick on. Am I just confusing myself against the NGs or is this a limitation in the current state of the FMS that needs to be resolved with the pending rewrite?

You can´t arm either one on the ground in the Classics. I think the minimum altitudes are 50 feet for LNAV and 400 for VNAV. Edited January 26, 2022 by Litjan 1
