sandpatch Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 I departed in a slightly turbolent weather and the autopilot was quite rough in the yoke. See video: https://streamable.com/i1hcuo This is with ASXP about an hour ago from LHBP. Quote
ois650 Posted January 9, 2022 Report Posted January 9, 2022 Hello, That flicking back and forth is typical of your yoke/HOTAS/stick not functioning correctly. I recommend that you plug it out and back in before doing a full calibration. Brgds Quote
sandpatch Posted January 9, 2022 Author Report Posted January 9, 2022 Well, it is not doing that usually. In cruise when it stabilized it calmed down and has been fine since. I tried playing with my joystick now while in AP and I needed to move the joystick a lot to make the yoke move. Quote
sandpatch Posted January 9, 2022 Author Report Posted January 9, 2022 Well, after playing round with it it seems that if I am in calm weather some minor flutter in the joystick doesn't do much, but if there is turbulence some minor flutter does affect it. AFAIK there is no option today where the flutter from the joystick is ignored. Quote
