sigor Posted February 23, 2021 Report Posted February 23, 2021 I am probably missing something stupid here but after upgrading to 1.6 i cannot turn the nose steering for taxi and start starboard engine to save my life. Port side starts fine but no go on starboard. I am using integrated checklist procedures. The previous version was working just fine. Thanks for the great airplane! igor Quote

NOSE WHEEL STEERING: There seems to be some confusion on how this is implemented. We have provided two (2) options (selectable in user preferences). 1) Use Tiller Checked (ON) - This allows you to use the in-cockpit tiller (manipulator) to steer. 2) Use Tiller Unchecked (OFF) - This allows for mouse/hardware steering. In addition... steering is only available when the following criteria are met: • On the ground (WOW) • Hydraulic PSI >= 1500 • Aircraft is moving • Tiller is engaged (depressed) 27 minutes ago, sigor said: Port side starts fine but no go on starboard. Make sure your right condition lever is in the start "detent" using the manipulators in the cockpit, that should get you going for now. Edited February 23, 2021 by JGregory Quote
sigor Posted February 23, 2021 Author Report Posted February 23, 2021 got it: 1) .... on the ground steering i never had hydraulics pressure up enough since i only had one engine running and i was stationary ... not actively taxiing . 2) ... got it on the right engine .... was able to start only on first time when loaded ... .after that cannot find that "detent" position .... hopefully work around comes sooner than later Thanks! 1 Quote
