Couple questions about the fuel selectors. I did look in the manual but wanted a couple clarifications:

1) the red and green knobs select left and right main tanks only?
2) the metal switches choose between main/tip tank pumps?
3) the middle metal switch is only to turn lights on or off?
4) is there a way to see tip tanks fuel amount?
5) tip tanks should only be used when mains are almost empty?

Cheers

  1. The red/green knobs control which wing each engine is fueled from (be it main or tip)
  2. The metal switches control whether the wing is feeding from the main or the tip tanks
  3. Yes. The middle switch controls the tank selection lights
  4. Yes, tip tank gauges are on the right sidewall near the ceiling
  5. Yup! Keep some reserve in the mains and then feed from the tips once you reach reserves on the mains.
