Raident10 Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 (edited) Hello all I hope you are well I was wondering if you could please help me? As soon as I start the engines in the SAAB 340, the thorttle /power increases on its own, unless I put the engines into reverse (this stops the issue from happening). The power leavers in the cockpit remain in the same position however which is strange. I have put a video on YouTube that shows this issue: I do not have this issue with any other aircraft (I have a lot of payware planes). Kind regards, Joe Edited January 12, 2021 by Raident10 Quote
JGregory Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 What you are experiencing is a known issue. The custom engine code for the Saab is "fighting" with changes that Austin made to the turboprop engine model in X-Plane. This has all been fixed and will be available in the next update, which will be free for you. 1 Quote
Raident10 Posted January 13, 2021 Author Report Posted January 13, 2021 Ah that’s perfect J, thank you ever so much for providing an update. Hopefully it won’t be too long then until the update, I purchased this aircraft in 2014 but I really want to get back to flying it lol. Take care, Joe Quote
Torbjoern Posted February 19, 2021 Report Posted February 19, 2021 Thanks @JGregory I thought I'd try out the good old Saab this week to refresh my skills, and had no idea what I was doing wrong. This explained it perfectly. Thanks Quote
