blaubaer Posted December 21, 2020 Report Share Posted December 21, 2020 (edited) Hey ho, I am usings SMP v4.9.6.2 with RWC and FS Global Real Weather. As soon as I activate Vulkan in XP11 the clouds and all rendered menus start to flicker constantly. Deactivating SMP in the plugin manager stops the flickering immediatly. My system: CPU Intel 4790k @ 4500MHz, 32GB RAM, Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X 8GB with the latest stable drivers, Win10 latest updates installed. X-Plane 11.50r3 (build 115033 64-bit) RWC and FS Gloabal Real Weather don't have any effect on this problem. What can I do to stop the flickering? sundog Posted December 22, 2020 Report Share Posted December 22, 2020 You might want to experiment with different anti-aliasing settings in your X-Plane graphics screen. As I recall there are some unresolved driver issues on AMD that manifest themselves with certain combinations of HDR and anti-aliasing settings. Both we and Laminar are aware of the issue and it's been reported to AMD, but it's out of our hands. Changing your HDR (graphics quality) setting may also influence it.
