decumanusmaximus Posted November 27, 2020 Report Posted November 27, 2020 I’ve purchased your product but no clouds. Per the forums, I checked the attached log file & noticed the following message: SkyMaxx Pro license check failed. Clouds will be disabled. I actually reinstalled X-Plane from scratch with same result. Please resolve ASAP & thanks. Log.txt
Cameron Posted November 27, 2020 Report Posted November 27, 2020 You don't have Gizmo installed, which is part of the package from the installer for SkyMaxx and required.
decumanusmaximus Posted November 28, 2020 Author Report Posted November 28, 2020 Per the install, I installed the beta version of the Gizmo plug-in and confirmed the following folder in the plugins folder: Gizmo64.plugin In the win_x64 folder of this folder, I have the following files: Gizmo64plugin.xpl libcurl.dll OpenAL32.dll Should Gizmo show up in the plugins section of X-Plane? I don't see it there ... I'll try re-installing using the stable release version. P.S. By the way, this is X-Plane 10.51.
decumanusmaximus Posted November 28, 2020 Author Report Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) It worked with the Gizmo Stable Release. There are a bunch of files for the Stable Release &, it appears, the Gizmo Beta install is missing a number of those files ... Edited November 28, 2020 by decumanusmaximus
