Tom Dale Posted November 17, 2020 Report Posted November 17, 2020 I just recently purchased X-Plane 11 and the TorqueSim SR22, so forgive me if I'm doing something obviously wrong here. When I start up the plane, the MFD seems to report missing and/or corrupt nav databases. For example, the SafeTaxi data is "n/a", while the aviation data expires "(null)-2000". (See attached screenshot.) This is with the latest Navigraph data, although I tried removing it and using X-Plane's built-in database and that produced the same result. I also haven't been able to get taxiway signs to appear in the Synthetic Vision, although perhaps I'm not doing something correctly to enable it. Is this behavior expected, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help or guidance you can offer. Quote
Coop Posted November 17, 2020 Report Posted November 17, 2020 The only active date that relates to nav-data is the Aviation DB line. I have not seen the "(null-2020" error before but will look into it. Taxiway signs will not show on synthetic vision, it will show runways and terrain only. The actual navigation system is the default X1000, so if flight planning, etc. are working, you should be fine. Quote
